The Santa Claus Division Of Elves

Elves are not just elves, according to Santa Claus. Each elf has a different job, so Santa Claus has made it easier for everyone to understand the hierarchy of elves at the North Pole. Does this mean that there are some elves that are better than others? Not really. However, as most people know, when you have that many elves together, there is always going to be one group that thinks they are in charge of it all. That is why Santa Claus spends the majority of the year having to reign in all the elves, figure out why they are fighting and find a solution that is going to help everyone — much like a teacher of a kindergarten class!

So, what are the various divisions of the elves at the North Pole? Let’s take a look at how Santa Claus has made this all happen:

Scouts

The scout elves are the elves that he enlists to be his eyes and ears throughout the world as he watches every little girl and boy. While Santa Claus does a lot of this on his own, with the high population in the world — he needed some help. These elves are super fast so kids will never see them watching!

Wrappers

These are elves who have a natural ability for wrapping gifts, no matter what they are, and making them look great. These elves often spend the first half of the year looking for new and pretty wrapping paper designs.

Helpers

Helper elves are where the bulk majority of elves are going to fall. They are the ones that have an all around knowledge about how things work throughout the North Pole and help. There are some that help Santa Claus get ready for Christmas Eve, some that helps clean up, there are even some that help cook meals, and those that help with the reindeer and their barns.

Toy Finders

While Santa Claus use to have the elves build the toys, he found that as the toys become technology driven, it was cheaper to outsource the toy making to regular companies. The elves in charge of this make sure that they are getting enough toys delivered to them so they can have these given to the kids at Christmas. It is a year round job in some cases, especially if there are some hard to find toys on the list.

Right Hand Elves

These elves are the right hand of Santa Claus and are often the ones that come with him as he is delivering the presents. They are the ones that make sure he gets a coffee if he starts to get drowsy while driving his sleigh, they ensure that the sleigh is up to safety standards, and much more. Without them, Santa’s life would be much harder.

Believe it or not, the life of Santa is a bit more complex than just delivering presents to kids. There is a whole hierarchy of elves that make it all happen!
